Raleigh is also known as the “City of Oaks” for its many Oak trees and is the 2nd most populous city in North Carolina after Charlotte. Raleigh is the home of many historic attractions including historic sites of the Civil War from 1861-1865. The city is also the home of TV Land’s “Andy & Opie” statue that attracts thousands of tourists.
